About Kizi Dolphin Lodge

Kizi Dolphin Lodge is located southwest corner of Zanzibar island, Kizimkazi is an apparently insignificant little fishing village which happens to have rather ancient Shirazi origins.

This part of the island is very different and a little less obvious than the classic broad palm-backed lagoon of the east coast. Here a coral rag cliff elevates the waterfront above the ocean and the beaches take the form of small coves rather than broad expanses of sand. For this reason there are relatively few lodges and the area definitely does have a distinctive atmosphere.

For decades now Kizimkazi has been best known as a location to swim with dolphins.
